If you follow us on Instagram or Twitter you might have seen a call for new contributors. (If you don’t follow us, congratulations on the many extra hours you must have in your day.) We continue our mostly-female run streak by adding a batch of talented, gorgeous, witty ladies who are all tuned into seeing art history differently.

We’re pleased to share with you four amazing new writers, chiming in from across the United States:

First up is Marian who shows us just how shady Emily Gilmore’s DAR pals can be:

Ellen works out of our hometown, San Francisco, and unlike the City by the Bay prefers her artwork red hot!

Sunburst by Dale Chihuly at the Minneapolis Institute of Art

Amanda is a busy gal, she writes for us and points out the most beautiful butts the Met Museum has to offer. It’s a tough job, but she’s up to the task!

(literally the best painting in Sartle)  Rainy Season in the Tropics by Frederic Edwin Church at the de Young Museum

Rounding out this incoming group is Victoria who exposes Degas’s occasional male nudes.

Young Spartans Exercising by Edgar Degas at the National Gallery London
