Drawn to adventures and idiosyncrasies, Corinna became a photojournalist to explore and document our absurd world. Since she was born, sometime back in Germany, Corinna has lived in England, South Africa, and Israel, where she still is today. In between she completed a few degrees, all in one way or another related to media and art, but who cares anyway? If she didn’t end up as a photojournalist, she might be a park ranger, painter, philosopher, martial artist, or most probably, a truffle hunter.

If you could have your portrait made by any artist, whom would you choose, and why?

Rembrandt, because of his unmistakable moody lighting, thanks to which the term ‘Rembrandt lighting’ was adopted in photography.

If you could pull off a heist, what would you steal?

I would steal the eccentric polar bear from Dali’s house in Port Lligat and release him back into the wild.

If you could step into any painting what would you pick and why?

Being a nature lover, I would step into Sierra Nevada by Albert Bierstadt and probably never return.
